Jobs in the gold mining industry are back on the rise once again as we see the price of gold reach new highs. All across the U.S. gold mines are reopening. Large and small scale commercial operations are springing up in every gold bearing state. With the price of gold high closed mines are reopening and venture capitalist are bankrolling or "grubstaking" operations both lode and placer enabling owners to hire the much needed help. Jobs in the gold mining and prospecting hobby sector are skyrocketing with many more dealers entering the already flooded metal detector and prospecting equipment market hawking their wares as weekend warriors strike out by the thousands most having little or no knowledge dreaming of easy riches and bound for failure in the goldfields. Where once you not not find an newspaper as for a gold mine job listings are now regular.

Gold mining jobs and mining industry jobs in general pay well above the national average with many public operations offering stock options and incentives. Many public operations are releasing forwarding looking statements daily looking to bolster their stock price as gold continues to sky rocket. Mining schools all across the U.S. are seeing enrollment nearly double as the price of gold is creating new jobs in the mining industry. With the US dollar on the steady decline many look to gold and gold futures as excellent investments and the upswing in mining jobs is another positive the nation needs.
