Its a beautifully cold morning, the temp is 28 in my back yard right now

Great topic, Rod. Its interesting to think of what the old timers thought and why they did things. Sometimes I look at old workings and say to myself - that was a stroke of genius -bet those guys got a lot of gold. On the other hand, sometimes I look at old workings and think - what in the (BLEEP) were you morons thinking!

I actually collected a whole bunch (almost 70) stories and histories of the old timers and their experiences. Some knew a lot (and were well worth reading their comments. Others knew very little. I am starting to get all these stories assembled on line, but its taking some time because there are so many. Check it out:

Rod, the Pirate radio cast is a great idea. Thanks for taking the time to put the shows together. I'm sure there will be lots to learn from yours and others experiences in the field.
