When I try to open the files, it says it can't find the propper program to do so.

What am I missing here?

I downloaded the files but I have a question or two.
What is the difference between KML and KMZ?
How do we determine which one to download?
Where can we find the instructions?
I imagine they are right in front of me and I can't see them!
Thanks,LeRoy

Thanks Ron!

AzGunDude you need Google Earth and Google Earth needs to be the default program for those files. Normally if you have it, it is.

Leroy the difference is technical, most people like the KML but they both work identically. No instructions, just click the layer you want to see. You can also use multiple layers and make some transparent. You can find overlay transparency instructions in the Google Eath help files.
