Did you ever have one those days to where when you get home, you just open a beer and start drinking? 15 minutes and I'm already on my second beer. I think it's time to escape the city and go do some prospecting!!!! I just plain hate the city..................Third beer now opened..........

I couldn't agree more, Michael88.

Just this month I sold out in Or. and

I now reside in Bouse, Az. In fact I am
about 6 miles outside of Bouse where it's
nice and quiet!

Cheers to the beers.

Dale

I used to live in Oregon City, Oregon. Sure do miss the fishing on Molalla River and elk hunting up in the mountains out by Mt. Hood. Damn memories. Time for a beer--and Jose, it's the good beer. Deschuttes is the name of it..........I wonder where its from..............

Descuttes Brewery is one of the best breweries. McMinnamen's(Oregon) has the best. It's called a Hammerhead. I tried to have them ship it to me, but noooooo, they can't do it. My friends send it to me for Christmas gifts.

If your ever in Oregon, hit a McMinnamens and then hit "The Acropylas" on 83rd ave in Milwakee, Oregon. Ain't nothing like eating a steak and eggs with a beer and having girls dance for ya'(totally nude). The best...........Damn, the fond memories... Sturgeon fishing, elk hunting, crabbing...miss it all.

In my book this is the Holy grail of Beers, Paulaner Hefeweizen Dunkel. They stopped importing it to the US a few years ago. I've got one left, it was even a hard to find item in Germany. It was in the back of a store in Berlin with some discarded boxes. Maybe one day I'll drink it. Used to love this beer Posted Image Bottle shown is not my actual bottle - still waiting on a battery for my camera.

Paulaner makes some good brew - had that dunkel way back when - nice and cloudy the way a hefe should be.

Try the Salvator Doppelbock by Paulaner - again Bevmo! should have it.

Hammerhead
A classic Northwest pale ale and McMenamins top selling beer. This rich chestnut colored gem is a model of harmony between hops and malted barley. Hammerhead's signature Cascade hop nose and intense hopped flavor blend nicely with the caramel tones from the crystal malt. This beer has a vocal following. To run out is an unforgivable sin.

Telling you: it's worth the $300 round trip ticket for a taste; rod, had your beer back in the early '90's. Good beer, but aint no hammerhead.....
