What do you use? Any recommendations for reliable servers?
GE is very nice, but for my purposes the lack of in-house 7.5 minute USGS topo overlay maps is a real hassle. Why don't they provide that data? It's free. I end up dancing back and forth between GE and geocommunicator (with maps turned on), but at times can't match up the two.
Whatever map server is hardcoded in Rod's power pack doesn't work for me. I've tried some alternates, but none seem reliable.
It shouldn't matter, but I'm running GE 6.0.whatever in Linux.
