I had one of the original models and it worked well. The builder Alan Trees is a very professional dredge builder and used to go under the American Gold Dredge Co, name. He built the flared dredges, I bought my first dredge from him when he was in Lucile, ID and watched him build them, as I said he did first class work back then, You are aware that they requre substanial water to work? The original that I had was used with a garden hose at Stanton,AZ LDMA camp for years for clean ups of cons, I sold it to Tom & Norma Jones when they took over as caretakers.
Wish I had water around Yuma,Az to use one!
